As soon as Virender Sehwag announced his retirement from all forms of Cricket on Tuesday, Twitter was abuzz with "miss you Sehwag" tweets.
Not only did celebrities from the Cricket fraternity wish Sehwag good luck, several Bollywood stars also joined the bandwagon and expressed their heart out at the end of the legendary cricketer's show.
Sehwag has been regarded as one of the best opening batsmen in the world for his fearless batting style. He has made several records in the game, including the triple century at a test match against Pakistan in Multan.
Sehwag's brilliant career consists of 104 Test matches, 251 One-Day Internationals and 19 T20Is. Popularly known as Viru, the opener scored 8,586 Test runs, 8,273 ODI runs and 394 T20I runs.
Although Sehwag was criticised for lack of foot-work, he proved everyone wrong with his brilliant strike rate and records. He is one of the few batsmen in international cricket who likes to play his natural game, irrespective of Test match or ODI.
Big Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher among others took to Twitter and asserted that the batsmen will be missed. Check the tweets below:
