Virat Kohli is the latest man to have joined the list of married Indian cricketers as he tied the knot with Bollywood actress and long-time girlfriend Anushka Sharma on Monday, December 11 in Italy.
While his contemporaries Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja settled down quite early, Kohli finally ended his bachelorhood at 29. The Indian skipper tailed Zaheer Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who got married earlier this year.
While he has many of his teammates to guide him when it comes to married life, it seems Kohli prefers to get some tips from Rahane, who has been married to Radhika Dhopavkar since 2014.
Notably, the vice-captain of the Indian Test team had congratulated Kohli and welcomed him to the "club" of married cricketers.
Rahane had written on Twitter: "Wishing you'll the very best for the new journey ahead and Welcome To The Club Captain!"
Kohli, who choose to reply to congratulatory tweets on Wednesday (December 13), thanked Rahane and wrote: "Thanks Jinx, looking forward to some tips from you."

Kohli had been open about his relationship, thanks to Zaheer Khan
Kohli has been dating Anushka since 2013 and speculations about a possible marriage have been doing rounds for quite sometime. While the Bollywood actress had remained tight-lipped about their relationship, the Indian captain was open about it.
Kohli, who is known for being outspoken, also revealed in a candid chat show — Breakfast with Champions – that Anushka had helped him become more sensible and patient.

Notably, the Delhi batsman also credited Zaheer for helping him to be open about his relationship.
"Ever since the lady [Anushka] has come into my life, she's taught me a lot of things.I have learnt a lot, become more sensible in the last four years all because of her. She's taught me how to be more patient and taught me how to utilise the position you are into the fullest," Kohli had told television host Gaurav Kapur on the YouTube show.
He added: "A very big reason behind me not hiding my relationship is Mr. Zaheer Khan. Luckily he was one of the first guys I spoke to about this and he said whatever you do don't try to hide it because you'll stress yourself. And on top of that, you're in a relationship, you're not doing anything wrong."
"I'm actually very grateful that my first interaction about this was with Zak. And he told me the right thing to do so I've followed it ever since."
Meanwhile, Kohli and Anushka will be hosting a couple of reception parties - first in Delhi on December 21 and the next one in Mumbai on December 26. The newlyweds will celebrate New Year in South Africa where the skipper will lead Team India in a three-Test series, starting January 5.
