Baba Ramdev, who has earlier shocked many with his abdominal movements, exhibited his wrestling skills during the 20th foundation day of his ashram Divya Yog Mandir on Monday.
The controversial yoga guru competed against Olympic wrestler Sushil Kumar during the inauguration of a national level wrestling and kabaddi championship, which was organised by the ashram in Haridwar. He was seen wearing orange shorts and wrestling shoes, and flaunted some unique style in the match.
After the match, Sushil Kumar praised Ramdev's performance and told ANI: "The performance of Baba Ramdev was spectacular. People from all around the world should see his enthusiasm."
Ramdev also said that wrestling and kabaddi should be encouraged worldwide and promised to make a wrestling ground in Patanjali too.
Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Sarbananda Sonowal as well as Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were present during the event.
