Viplove Koneti, who is making his debut as a director with "Hithudu", has laughed off the rumours about his death, stating that he was sick and hospitalised but he is still alive.
Some sections of the media reported about Viplove Koneti's death on Tuesday, 9 June. Rumour had it that he had died at a private hospital. The director, who was shocked to read the hoax creating buzz in the media, took to his Facebook page on Wednesday to clear the air. He posted, "I fell ill, was hospitalised and cut myself off from all phone contact. True. Rest is a mystery."
Viplove Koneti added, "And I love death. I have openly confessed this in my writings, art and talks. I learnt a lot from death, which I have observed at close quarters while I was studying medicine. "Death is no joke for me. This is all because of a disturbance that I could not control and right now, I'm trying to control. I will try tougher measures so that such 'disturbances' do not disturb other people."
The budding director wanted to take legal action against the persons behind spreading the rumour, but he dropped the idea. He further wrote, "Figured out 4 probable suspects behind the origin of this rumor. And guessed the motives too. Some sick minds. Want to proceed legally, but some well-wishers saying 'leave it, it only makes this dirtier public news!' (sic)"
Viplove Koneti is a graduate in medicine from SV Medical College Thirupati. He has reportedly done a course in direction from the LV Prasad Film and TV Academy in Chennai. He is turning a director with the Telugu movie "Hithudu", starring Jagapathi Babu and Meera Nandan.
