Vinod Khanna funeral: Several celebs attend last rites of the popular actor [PHOTOS]

Veteran actor Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday, April 27, leaving the entire industry deeply saddened. His death was followed by a series of condolences on the social media.

Vinod was reportedly suffering from bladder cancer. The news of his demise broke out on social media first, and soon many Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to express grief at the huge loss.

Several celebrities appeared at the funeral of Vinod, that took place at Worli on Thursday evening. Personalities like Randhir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Subhash Ghai, Dia Mirza, Kabir Bedi, Arjun Rampal among several others attended the last rituals of the popular actor.

Among his family members, Vinod's sons Akshaye Khanna and Sakshi Khanna were present at the funeral along with his present wife Kavita and first wife Geetanjali. Industry people have been paying respect to Vinod in different ways. Karan Johar had announced that the premiere show of Bahubali 2 has been cancelled as a mark of respect to the departed soul. Amitabh Bachchan, too, had cancelled an interview to be a part of the funeral.

Vinod, who was born to a Punjabi family, had made his movie debut in Sunil Dutt-starrer Man Ka Meet in 1968.
