Despite starring newcomers, Aanandam is one of the most awaited Malayalam movies of the year, thanks to the campus entertainer's crew, who have come up with movies that did wonders at the Kerala box office.
Aanandam has been getting attention for being the debut production venture of actor-director-singer Vineeth Sreenivasan under his home banner Habit of Life. The movie also marks the debut of director Ganesh Raj, who was the former associate of Vineeth in his blockbuster movies. The makers have now announced that the movie featuring seven youngsters -- Vishak Nair, Anu Antony, Thomas Mathew, Arun Kurian, Siddhi Mahajankatti, Roshan Mathew and Anarkali Marikar -- in the lead roles, will be released on October 21.

The campus story narrates the fun-filled adventure exploring friendship and love that takes place during an industrial visit of a few engineering students of a college in Kerala. The movie's trailer as well as songs, composed by Sachin Warrier, have already raised the expectations of the audience. The campus movie is expected to be be loved like the hit movie Happy Days released in 2007. Since the movie is based on engineering students, the cast and crew of Aanandam have been engaging in promotional activities throughout the professional colleges in the state.
While Anend C Chandran cranks the camera of Aanandam, editing has been handled by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The movie will be distributed by Lal Jose under the banner of his home production, LJ Films Pvt Ltd.
