Vineeth Sreenivasan-Ganesh Raj's 'Aanandam' starts rolling

Upcoming Malayalam movie "Aanandam," directed by debutant Ganesh Raj, former assistant of Vineeth Sreenivasan, started rolling on Thursday, May 5.

The movie, based on the life of a group of engineering students, is the debut production venture of actor-singer Vineeth under the banner of Habit of Life. "Another person from our direction dept is becoming independent. Presenting our brother Ganesh Raj's first feature film Aanandam!! This is also my first film as a producer under the banner 'Habit of Life.' Shoot starts tomorrow.. New director, new actors, a lot of new technicians.. It's the starting of a new dream.. Keep us in prayers [sic]," Vineeth posted while sharing the first-look poster of "Aanandam" on his Facebook account.

Ganesh, who is set to become an independent director with "Aanandam," has thanked Vineeth and many others for being a great supporter in making his long cherished dream comes true. "Tomorrow morning we start shooting Aanandam. This has been a long cherished dream of mine and I couldnt have hoped for a better producer than Vineeth Sreenivasan, who is my mentor not just in films but also in life [sic]," the budding director wrote on his Facebook account.

"Aanandam" stars new-comers in the lead roles, and playback singer Sachin Warrier has composed the music. Cinematography will be handled by Anend C Chandran. 

"Aanandham starts rolling tomorrow. Wishing good luck to vineeth ,ganesh,anand and the entire team [sic]," actor Nivin Pauly wrote on his Facebook page.

Popular music composer Shaan Rahman says that the upcoming movie will be "as tasty as homemade Mutton Biriyani" and wishes good luck to the entire cast and crew of the flick. "Dear friends, Another talent from our group is turning independent. Dear Ganesh, I wish you all the best for this beautiful film. And Sachin my brother, I'm so glad that you're doing the music for "Aanandam". And the biggest joy.. Vineeth will be producing it . Eni endhu parayaana... This will be as tasty as home made Mutton biryani. Lots of love and prayers to the whole cast and crew... Make it big [sic]," Shaan posted on his Facebook account.
