The makers of upcoming Kannada movie The Villain have created a lot of hype around its audio by unveiling two songs back-to-back. The makers are now gearing up for the release of its third track from the movie, which will be out on July 29.
The latest buzz about the album is that the date of the complete audio album launch has been finalised. Yes, it will be unveiled in a grand event on August 11.
"Although the date has been locked we are yet to finalise the venue. Initially, we wanted to release it in Hubballi, but due to heavy rains in the region we are looking out for other options," a source from the team told The International Business Times.
The audio is most likely to be released during an event at Kanteerava Stadium. Apart from this place, the team is planning to simultaneously launch the songs in Mangaluru and Dubai where the audio from Rajinikanth's 2.0 was launched.
"There will be more clarity about the plans in the next few days," the source adds.
The shooting of The Villain was wrapped after the completion of the final track, which features Kiccha Sudeep and Amy Jackson. The post-production works are underway as the makers want the movie to hit the screens on August 24 on the occasion of Varamalakshmi festival.
There are also chances of the film being delayed if the post-production works fail to complete on time.
Prem will be sending the movie to the regional censor board for its certification.
The Villain, produced by CR Manohar, unites Shivaraj Kumar and Sudeep in full-fledged roles for the first time. While Arjun Janya has composed the music, Girish R Gowda has handled the cinematography department.
