Vikram's 'I' trailer, which is expected to release on Wednesday (17 December), will be attached with Aamir Khan's Bollywood movie "PK". However, it is not the Tamil version but the Hindi version of the video-clip that is being attached with the Bollywood film.
Aamir Khan's "PK" will hit the screens worldwide on 19 December. The attachment of "I" trailer with the Bollywood flick is expected to give fillip to Vikram's movie.
As per the reports, the makers of "I" have been waiting for a good opportunity to promote the movie in Bollywood and "PK" has become a good platform to draw Hindi audience's attention towards the Shankar directorial movie.
From 19 December, "I" trailer will be screened in the theatres in India where "PK" will be played. As of now, it is not sure if Vikram's trailer will be played once or twice during the screening of the Aamir Khan starrer.
If the makers of "PK" have agreed for twice, 'I' trailer will be played before the commencement of the film and the same video will be played during the interval.
Aamir Khan and 'I' director Shankar have known each other for some time. Their bond is said to have gotten stronger after the Tamil filmmaker remade the actor's "3 Idiots" ("Nanban" in Tamil). These connections have helped both the parties in sealing a good deal.
On the other hand, there are rumours that Shankar is going to make a multilingual action-thriller with Aamir Khan, but there is no confirmation on it.
Meanwhile, fans of Vikram and Shankar are desperately waiting for "I" trailer to hit screens. The video-clip is expected to be out on Wednesday noon but the timings have not been confirmed yet. However, a trailer of the Tamil movie was released during its grand audio release function a few months ago and had gone viral.
"I" is a mega-budget project produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
