The recently-released "I" teaser has received an overwhelming response from fans.
The video has fetched more than 3 million (30 lakh) views on YouTube within three days and is expected to surpass the 5 million mark (50 lakh) soon.
"I" has created a huge buzz with the release of film's teaser and songs. They were released during a grand event, which witnessed the presence of several stars including Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, superstar Rajinikanth and Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
The presence of Schwarzenegger for the audio launch gave "I" a big boost and its teaser, songs became the much-talked about topic on social media sites.
The film's soundtracks, composed by A.R. Rahman, have topped charts on iTunes India. The teaser has also turned out to be a huge hit with many appreciating director Shankar and Vikram for their efforts.
Several celebrities took to twitter to shower praises on the film's teaser.

"I," touted to be a romantic thriller flick, has been in the production for nearly two years. The film's shooting is mostly completed with only a song left to be shot.
According to latest reports, the schedule of "I" resumed in Chennai on Thursday (18 September) to shoot the "Ladio"song. Amy Jackson and Bollywood actor Upen Patel will be taking part in the shooting and it is expected to be completed in a week. With that the film's shooting will be completely wrapped up.
Post-production work for the film has already commenced and is going on at a brisk pace. The film is gearing up for a massive release during Diwali.
Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, "I" is reportedly made with a budget of over ₹150 crore. The film will have Vikram appearing in different looks including that of a beast-like creature, stylish man, bodybuilder and crippled man with boils on his face. Vikram has reportedly undergone several physical changes to portray different roles in the big budget entertainer.
The film also has Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi appearing in a pivotal role. P.C. Sreeram has handled the cinematography and editing is done by Anthony.
