The audio of Vikram-Shankar's "I" Hindi and Telugu versions is all set to be launched on 5 December and 10 December, respectively.
The Hindi audio launch will be held in Mumbai, while the Telugu music release will take place in Hyderabad. Earlier, there were reports that Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone would attend the Hindi audio and Jackie Chan will be present for the Telugu version. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
The music release of "I" Tamil version was held in a grand manner on 15 September. "Terminator" actor Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the big event along with celebrities like Rajinikanth, Puneeth Rajkumar, Vikram, AR Rahman and Shankar among others. The songs have received fantastic response from fans and it remains to be seen if the Hindi, Telugu version of the songs will receive good feedback from the audience.
The teaser of "I" has generated a huge positive buzz and has created big expectations surrounding the project. The film was initially slated to release for Diwali, but it was reportedly delayed due to the post-production work.
It has now been confirmed that the film is set to hit screens for Pongal, though an official announcement on the exact release date is still awaited.
Directed by Shankar, "I" is touted to be a romantic thriller with Vikram appearing in four different looks including a body builder, crippled man, beast-like creature and a stylish man. Amy Jackson plays the female lead, while the other cast members include Suresh Gopi and Upen Patel in supporting roles. The film's cinematography is handled by P.C. Sreeram, while Aascar Ravichandran has produced the big budget entertainer.
"I" is likely to clash with Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal," which is also confirmed for a Pongal release. "Yennai Arindhaal" is expected to hit the screens on 9 January, while "I" might release a week after the release of the Ajith starrer.
