A song teaser from Vikram and Nayanthara's "Iru Mugan" was released on Saturday, July 16. The makers have given a glimpse of the "Halena" song from the forthcoming Tamil movie.
It is a romantic song shot with the lead stars in "Iru Mugan." The makers have planned to release the complete album on Aug. 2 in a grand event in Chennai. In order to generate good buzz around the album, they have reportedly unveiled the song teaser now, say reports.
Harris Jayaraj has scored the music for the Tamil flick, which reportedly has five tracks. The album consists of a variety of songs and is expected to be targeted at the youth. It may be recalled that the music director had earlier collaborated with Vikram in films like "Samurai," "Saamy," "Arul," "Anniyan," and "Bheemaa."
Fans of Vikram and Nayanthara have liked the teaser and giving positive reviews about the track.
The makers had earlier released the movie's teaser and it was met with fairly positive reviews. Vikram and Nayanthara's stylish looks have caught the viewers' attention.
"Iru Mugan" was supposed to start in 2014 but was delayed for some reasons. Initially, Kalaippuli S Thanu and Ayngaran International had shown interest in producing the movie, which was supposed to have the music of Anirudh Ravichander. In the later stages, they both backed out of the project.
Subsequently, the project underwent changes in the cast and technical team with Shibu Thameens taking over the role of producer. Harris Jayaraj, RD Rajasekhar and Bhuvan were signed to handle music, cinematography and editing departments, respectively. Nayanthara and Nithya Menen were brought on board to play the female leads.
The movie hit the floors in December 2015 and has been filmed in Malaysia, Ladakh, Bangkok and Chennai. The film will hit screens in August.
