Chiyaan Vikram has left behind Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith Kumar and Suriya with the trailer of his forthcoming Tamil movie "I" getting far better response than the trailers of other four stars' films.
Vikram's "I" official trailer has been viewed 80 lakhs times on the Internet. Generally, the lifetime views of a trailer comes around 70+ lakhs hits. Even, Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan" trailer received less than 50 lakhs on Youtube.
While Vijay's "Kaththi" trailer got around 30 lakhs, Ajith's "Veeram" received around 40 lakhs and Suriya's "Anjaan" fetched more than 35 lakhs hits on the video sharing website.
However, "I" has broken all the previous records, clearly showing the popularity of the upcoming movie. Vikram's fans are hoping that the video-clip will reach 1 crore mark soon.
On the other end, the makers of "I" are busy with the post-production works of the movie. The movie will release in the last week of November. It is believed that the film will see the light of the day on 28 November in multiple languages. But there isn't any official confirmation on the release date yet.
Meanwhile, the preparations for the audio release of the film's Hindi version are also happening and the makers are inviting big names from Bollywood for the event.
"I" is a romantic-thriller starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The Tamil movie, directed by Shankar is produced by Aascar Ravichandran. It has AR Rahman's music and PC Sreeram's cinematography. Some of the finest names from Hollywood, including action director Yuen Woo-ping (renowned for his work in The Matrix trilogy) has worked in the project.
