"Vikings" season 3 will be back on History Channel with episode 5 titled "The Usurper" this Thursday, 19 March, at 10pm and it will revolve around Kalf (Ben Robson), Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), King Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and Erlendur (Edvin Endre).
As per the official synopsis of upcoming sequel, Lagertha is going to learn that her Earldom has been usurped and will convince Ragnar to travel to Hederby with her in an effort to reclaim her title.
The 30-second-long trailer of episode 5 shows the King, asking his ex-wife, "Your earldom really that important to you?" and she replies, "Yes, because it's rightfully mine."
Meanwhile, Robson revealed that his character wants to be more powerful than King Ragnar, and thus, he will be taking extreme steps to achieve his goal.
"I think Kalf wants to be recognised more than Ragnar -- [Kalf] has to surpass whatever Ragnar has achieved, and I think in terms of his fame, it's - from a farmer to a king, that's an incredible degree of success, so if he can achieve anything like that, it's a monumental task," the celeb told Access Hollywood.
He even talked about the importance of being recognised by the gods and "to be fighting by Odin's side in the war of the gods in Valhalla".
On the other hand, King Ragnar will cause great surprise when he announces the next raid and many more will shed their bloods.
In the mean time, the fleet will return to Kattegat to find tragic circumstances await and the Seer will have interesting prophecies for Rollo in episode 5 titled "The Usurper".
