Makers of Vijay's "Theri" have titled its Telugu version "Policeodu." They have released its first look poster and they have plans to hold a grand function for its audio launch in Hyderabad.
We had reported recently that producer-cum-distributor Dil Raju has acquired the rights of the Telugu version of "Theri" for a whopping price. Now we hear that its Telugu version has been titled "Policeodu." The makers have unleashed the first look of the Vijay and Samantha starrer film online.
"Theri" has been directed by Atlee and it is the director's second film to be dubbed in Telugu after his debut venture "Raja Rani." The thrilled director released the first look of "Policeodu" on his Twitter handle April 2. He also wrote, After #RajaRani coming up with my next #PoliceoduFirstLook"
"Theri" is an action film, produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and it is scheduled to be released in theatres April 14. GV Prakash Kumar has composed music for both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film. The audio album of its Tamil version was recently launched at a function held in Chennai April 3 and the songs have received positive response from music lovers.
The music of "Policeodu" will be released at an event to be held in Hyderabad April 6. The Telugu film has already cleared the formalities of the censor board and got a 'U' certificate. Mahesh S Koneru and Vamsi Kaka, the PR for Dil Raju's SV Creations, â€have confirmed the news about its censorship and audio release.

The producers of "Theri" have unleashed the stills of "Policeodu," which are now being circulated on the social media. Besides posting a set of photos, Vamsi Kaka tweeted, "#Policeodu photos released today for Telugu Media."
