The makers of Sarkar have put an end to the rumours about the audio release date. Well, the music composd by two-time Oscar Award winning music director AR Rahman.
"#SarkarAudioFromOct2nd @actorvijay @ARMurugadoss @arrahman @KeerthyOfficial @varusarath. [sic]" Sun Pictures tweeted. The audio will be unveiled in an event on the said date to coincide with Gandhi Jayanthi.
It was believed that the makers would announce the date of its teaser release, but as of now, there is no update on it. Rumours have been doing rounds that it would be out on 13 September on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Currently, the team is busy with the final schedule of shooting in Chennai. The filming is expected to be wrapped up early next month following which the director and the editing team will sit for the teaser release.
So far, the makers have released the first look posters of Sarkar. Unfortunately, it has met with criticism from politicians and groups for encouraging smoking.
Sarkar marks the third collaboration of Ilayathalapathy Vijay with AR Murugadoss after blockbusters Thuppakki and Kaththi. After Bairavaa, Keerthy Suresh is said to be romancing Vijay again. Girish Ganghadharan has been signed to handle the cinematography, while two-time Oscar winner AR Rahman is composing the music for the untitled flick.
Sreekar Prasad is the editor for the film that is being written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The movie marks the third union of Vijay with the director after blockbusters like Kaththi and Thuppakki.
