The first look of "Puli" was supposed to be released on 14 April, to coincide with the Tamil New Year Day. But it has been postponed now, leaving Vijay's fans disappointed.
In the last couple of weeks, it was widely reported on Internet that Vijay will treat his fans this Tamil New Year Day with the first look release of his much-awaited "Puli". But to everybody's disappointment, there is no word on the release of the movie's posters.
The buzz has it that initially the makers were thinking of releasing the first look of "Puli". But being a fantasy-adventure movie in which Vijay has rich looks, they decided not to release now, to sustain curiosity in the minds of the audience.
The makers of "Puli" are yet to finalise the date of its first look release yet. It is said that the posters will be out next month.
Meanwhile, Nandita is the latest cast member to be roped in to play a key role. She has been signed to play one of the female leads in "Puli". The movie, which is being made with a huge budget, has Vijay as hero, with Kannada superstar Sudeep playing villain.
Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are the main female leads and yesteryear actress Sridevi plays the role of Sudeep's mother in "Puli".
Currently, the shooting is happening in Talakona waterfalls in Andhra Pradesh. "Puli" shooting will be wrapped up soon and the movie might hit screens on Vijay's birthday.
