It is well known that Vijay's "Kaththi" and Vikram's "I" is all set to slug it out at the box office in October. However, the big audio battle between "Kaththi" and "I" will commence this week.
The audio launch of "I" will happen in a grand manner on Monday, 15 September. The entire cast and crew of the film including director Shankar, Vikram, Amy Jackson, producer Aascar Ravichandran, music composer AR Rahman are likely to attend the big event.
Superstar Rajinikanth will be gracing the occasion along with Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Producer Ravichandran has organised several interesting events including a fashion show, performance by international bubble artist Ana Yang and an addition performance while will be the surprise element of the event. Composer AR Rahman will be presenting "I" songs as a concert, reported the The Times of India.
The film's audio track list has been revealed. There are six songs and a remix version of one of the songs for which lyrics have been written by lyricists Kabilan and Madhan Karky.

"Kaththi" Audio Release
The audio release of "Kaththi" will be happening at Chennai's Leela Palace on 18 September.
"Kaththi" team including Vijay, Samantha, director AR Murugadoss, music composer Anirudh are expected to attend the event.
Anirudh has earlier revealed that "Kaththi" album has a lot of surprises. With the audio release date nearing, hashtags like #KATHTHIRockingsongs4msep18, #KaththiSelfie and #KATHTHI_LetsTakeASelfiePulla have been trending on Twitter.
There are reportedly six tracks in "Kaththi" album and one of the songs titled "Selfie Pulla" has been sung by Vijay. The song has reportedly been leaked on the internet. However, the leaked song was not the one crooned by Vijay but just a rough cut version sung by Anirudh.
Those who have heard the song seem to have been impressed with the rough-cut version. Fans are eagerly waiting to listen to the original version of the song.
"Kaththi" teaser is also expected to be released during the audio launch event.
"I" vs "Kaththi"
There have been huge buzz surrounding "I" and "Kaththi" albums. Both AR Rahman and Anirudh are in top form with back-to-back successful albums.
Rahman's recently-released "Kaaviyathalaivan" album has received positive response from the fans. On the other hand, Anirudh's songs in "Velai Illa Pattathari" has also turned out to be a huge hit.
Expectations are pretty high for both "I" and "Kaththi" albums and it will be interesting to see as to which one emerges on top.
