The trailer of Vijay's much-awaited "Kaththi" is likely to be released soon.
"Kaththi" trailer is expected to be released by the end of this week, reported Sify. There are huge expectations for the trailer following the positive response for the film's teaser and songs as well.
"Kaththi" teaser and the audio were released last month in an event held in Chennai. The teaser has received fantastic response from the fans and has fetched more than two million views. It has managed to build curiosity about the film's content and fans are now eagerly waiting to see the film's trailer.
"Kaththi" songs, composed by Anirudh, have turned out to be big hits. The "Selfie Pulla" song rendered by Vijay and Sunidhi Chahan and "Aathi" sung by Anirudh and Vishal Dadlani have topped the charts.
The shooting of "Kaththi" is completely wrapped up and the post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace. The film's first copy is expected to be ready by 10-12 October and likely to be censored before 15 October, according to Sify.
Promotional activities have commenced with "Kaththi" team having released the film's official 3D game for the Android and Windows versions. The game has received good response from the fans and has reportedly fetched maximum number of downloads. Following the success, "Kaththi" makers are planning to release an iOS version of the game as well as the 2D version, reported Behindwoods.
"Kaththi" is one of the most-awaited Tamil films of the year as Vijay and director Murugadoss have teamed up for the second time post the success of their 2012-release "Thuppakki."
Vijay will reportedly be appearing in dual roles in the film, while Samantha plays the female lead. Bollywood actor Neil Nithin Mukesh, Bengali actor Tota Roy and comedian Sathish are also part of the film's cast.
The Vijay starrer is confirmed for a Diwali release and is set for big openings on the first day. Although "Kaththi" will be clashing with Vishal's "Poojai," the action thriller flick is expected to dominate the screens across Tamil Nadu.
Diwali has proved to be a lucky period for Vijay with many of his past releases including "Thuppakki," "Sivakasi" and "Thirumalai" having turned out to be successful films. It will be interesting to see how "Kaththi" fares at the box office.
The Telugu version of the film is also expected to have a simultaneous release with the Tamil version. Tagore Madhu has reportedly acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of the film. The audio launch of the Telugu dubbed version is expected to happen soon.
