The "Vaalu" actor has stated that "Kaththi" album is rocking and is going to be a real treat for the fans.
"#kathi album is rocking guys @anirudhofficial has killed it ... Gonna b a treat ... Gud luck to the whole team :)," Simbu tweeted.
There are huge expectations for "Kaththi" songs as Anirudh has teamed up with director AR Murugadoss and Vijay for the first time. The composer, who is on a roll with back-to-back successful albums, is hoping to strike success once again with "Kaththi" album.

The audio launch will happen at Chennai's Leela Palace on 18 September at 7 pm. The cast and crew of "Kaththi", including Vijay, Samantha, Anirudh, Murugadoss and its producers are likely to attend the music release event. Soundarya Rajinikanth, director (creative & strategy) for Eros and head Eros Digital South India, is also expected to be present for the occasion.
Eros Music has acquired the audio rights of "Kaththi." It is the first Tamil album for which the company has bagged the audio rights.

Legendary singer K. J. Yesudas, Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Sunidhi Chauhan among others have rendered songs for the album. Fans are eagerly awaiting for the "Let's Take a Selfie Pulla" song rendered by Vijay. "Kaththi" teaser is also expected to be launched during the music release event.
The action entertainer is one of the most-anticipated Tamil films of the year as Vijay and Murugadoss have teamed up for the second time post the success of the 2012-release "Thuppakki."
The film's first looks and the motion posters have generated huge buzz surrounding the project. It remains to be seen whether the songs and the teaser will increase the expectations about the film.
"Kaththi" will mark the Tamil film debut of Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who will be seen as a baddie in the film. Samantha plays the female lead opposite Vijay, while comedian Sathish, Sayaji Shinde and Bengali actor Tota Roy are also part of the film's cast.
George C. Williams is handling the cinematography, while Sreekar Prasad takes care of the editing. Produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions, "Kaththi" is scheduled to hit the screens during Diwali festival period.
