Music composer Anirudh has revealed that there will be a lot of surprises in Vijay's "Kaththi" album.
The audio of "Kaththi" is eagerly-awaited by fans as Anirudh has teamed up with Vijay and director A. R. Murgadoss for the first time. The music release will take place in September. However, the exact release date is not announced, though the buzz is that it will happen on 20 September.
"#Kaththi audio is almost done.. A lot of big surprises in it for fans :) Vijay sir's song is also ready and I will be recording him in the coming days.. Have planned to release the audio in mid-September.. We will announce the final date very soon! Our whole team is eagerly waiting to share the #Kaththialbum with you all:)," said Anirudh.
This is not the first time Vijay has rendered a song for his film. The actor has sung several songs in his films. Lastly, he had crooned a romantic number titled "Kandangi Kandangi" for "Jilla."
Anirudh is excited about how "Kaththi" album has shaped up. "Thrilled with the way the album of #Kaththi is shaping up.. Cant wait for you guys to hear it.. September 2014 :)," the young composer had tweeted a few days ago.
The background score for "Kaththi" motion poster, which was released last month, has already received a fantastic response from fans. It needs to be seen whether "Kaththi" album will be another hit in Anirudh's career.
"Kaththi", deemed as an action entertainer, will have Vijay in dual roles. Buzz is that one of Vijay's characters might be that of a youth leader. However, there is no confirmation regarding this. The film has Samantha opposite Vijay, while comedian Sathish is also part of the cast. Bollywood actor Neil Nithin Mukesh is making his Tamil debut as the villain in "Kaththi."
Produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions, "Kaththi" is set for a Diwali release in October and carries huge expectations as Vijay and Murugadoss have teamed up after churning out their blockbuster flick "Thuppakki."
"Kaththi" will be clashing with Vishal's "Poojai", which is also planned for a Diwali release. Last year, Vishal's "Pandiya Naadu" was released alongside Ajith's "Arrambam" during the Diwali festival period. Despite clashing with Ajith's film, the Vishal starrer emerged as a successful film.
Again this year, the actor has dared to release "Poojai" with "Kaththi" and it will be interesting to see which of these two films will perform well at the box office.
