After releasing the teaser of the film, the makers of "Theri" are now planning to launch a song teaser. A short video of Vijay's intro track in the upcoming Tamil flick is expected to be out soon.
Music director GV Prakash Kumar has confirmed the news on Twitter. He wrote, "Thinking over a single soon #jithujilladi #GV50 #theri #jithujilladi mitta killadi mama daaladikkum colouru kannadi!!! Thoppiyila singatha paaren, tholula stara vaangum police u kaaran â¤ï¸ #GV50. (sic)"
The announcement has thrilled Vijay's fans, who have welcomed the news by liking the post and re-tweeting it. They also bombarded him with lots of queries related to the track. But the music director did not reveal any detail about the number.
"Jithu jilladi" is the introductory song of Vijay in "Theri" and the music director has been hyping the track from the day it planned. Hence, there is a lot of curiosity around the number and the teaser release would only double the expectations of the audience around the album.
However, the song teaser release is also a good way of generating hype around "Theri" audio, which is expected to be out in the last week of March. The number has been crooned by Deva and penned by Rokesh.
Last month, the movie teaser of "Theri" was released and it was met with brilliant response from the audience. In fact, the video has become the most liked Tamil film teaser and it requires close to 10 lakh to reach the 1-crore mark (hits) on YouTube.
"Theri" is an action-thriller, written and directed by Atlee Kumar of "Raja Rani" fame. Vijay has paired up with Samantha and Amy Jackson in the flick, which has Mahendran in the role of a baddie. The film, which is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, will be out in April.
