The first look poster of "Kaththi" will have exclusive theme music, according to film's composer Anirudh. The poster will be released for Vijay's birthday on 22 June. 

The poster will be released on YouTube along with the theme music, he said.

This will be the first time ever that a poster will have theme music and it will be a real birthday treat for Vijay fans, who have been eagerly waiting to see the first look of the "Kaththi."

"Kaththi" brings Vijay and Murugadoss together for the second time post the success of their super hit flick "Thuppakki." The film touted to be an action packed entertainer will have Vijay playing dual roles. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sathish and Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh are also part of the film's cast.

The film's shooting kicked off in February and has progressed well so far. The team resumed shooting in Chennai on Monday after a small break as the director was busy promoting his Hindi film "Holiday- A soldier is Never Off Duty", which hit the screens on 6 June. With the Akshay starrer doing good business, Murugadoss has shifted his focus again on "Kaththi."

The Chennai schedule is expected to be a long one and some important portions will be shot during this period, according to reports. Murugadoss is planning to finish the film's shooting at the earliest as it is gearing up for Diwali release.

The shooting is expected to be wrapped by August after which the post production work will commence in full swing. It is not yet known as to when the film's music, composed by Anirudh, will be launched.

"Kaththi" cinematography is handled by George C. Williams and editing is done by Mu. Kasi Viswanathan. The film is produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions.
