Troubles and controversies have continued for Vijay as one of the punch dialogues in the recently-released "Kaththi" has sparked a fresh controversy. In a one-liner in the movie, there is a mention about the infamous "2G Scam" and this is now brought a fresh trouble for the Ilayathalapathy, AR Murugadoss and the Lyca Productions

Case Against Trio
The petitioner has claimed that there is a dialogue in the film, which has reference to the '2G Scam'. The dialogue draws a conclusion that the corruption seems to have occurred in this case. He questions the conclusion of the dialogue while the case is still being heard by a Delhi court.

This sort of conclusion damages the reputation of the Indian judiciary. It is an offence and people should be punished for it, he requests the court.

One Trouble After Another
However, the "Kaththi" team, which is basking in the success of the film, is yet to respond on the issue. This is the latest trouble for the film after it faced protests over the release of the film during the release when several fringe groups held protests citing that the film was funded by Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa. But the makers have reportedly solved all the issues at the eleventh hour.

Records To Be Broken
Meanwhile, "Kaththi" is all set to break several records at the box office. The Vijay starrer was released as a Diwali treat on 22 October. It has released in 1,000 screens worldwide and opened up to positive reviews by critics and audience. The Tamil movie has made a record ₹23.45 crore on the first day worldwide of which it collected ₹12.45 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.

Box Office Collection
"Kaththi" raked in approximately ₹36 crore at the Tamil Nadu Box Office in the first-day extended weekend. From the overseas market, the film has easily collected ₹10 crore.

Remake
On the other end, the plans for the remake have begun and it is likely to be made in Telugu soon. There were talks on with a leading Telugu actor but nothing has been finalised yet.
