Actor Vijay is a busy man these days juggling between multiple projects that are getting lined up for release.
Vijay's most-anticipated film "Thalaivaa" is all set to hit theatres next month. The actor is currently busy shooting for his next film "Jilla" directed by R. T. Nesan. He has also committed to work with AR Murugadoss in 2014. This will be their second film after the super successful "Thuppaki", which was released last year and set the cash registers ringing.
Latest buzz is that Vijay might work with director Shankar once again after "Nanban", a remake of Bollywood film "3 Idiots." It's been reported that Vijay has agreed to allot bulk dates for Shankar's project after both complete their respective film commitments.
Shankar is also working on his next film "I" which has Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles. The film is expected to keep the director busy for the next several months. Apparently, the director and Vijay might commence the big budget film in 2014. When Tamil film news website Behindwoods.com contacted Vijay's manager, he was reportedly non-commitmental and said he could answer only after the Vijay-AR Murugadoss project commences next year.
There is also no clarity on Shankar's next film after "I". Earlier, it was reported that the director might team up with superstar Rajinikanth after the release of "Kochadaiyaan". The Shankar-Rajini combo has worked wonders at the box office with two of their films - "Sivaji" and "Endhiran" ("Robot") - turning out to be blockbusters.
Now, reports have emerged that Vijay might work with Shankar. It remains to be seen who Shankar would choose for his next project. We might need to wait longer until the director himself announces his new film.
