Sundar C's next movie is creating a lot of buzz even before it hit the floors. The reason, of course, is the big names said to be getting associated with the project. After Mahesh Babu and Suriya, the latest name doing the rounds is of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who is expected to join hands with the director for the film, which is said to be the costliest ever movie made in India.
A report on IndiaGlitz claims that it is none other than Vijay who is going to star in Sundar C's next. Other details of the forthcoming flick are yet to be revealed. However, the director had refused to spill the beans on the cast recently and said that he will be announcing the film with other details in a month.
"We'll have big and fantastic star cast," the director had told the website, while revealing that the film will be bigger than "Bahubali" and "Enthiran 2," which are being reportedly made with the budget of Rs. 130 crore and Rs. 350 crore, respectively.
Last year, it was reported that Sundar C had met Vijay and that the two were in talks for a movie. However, his wife and actress Khushbu had denied the news, saying that the director definitely wants to work with Ilayathalapathy sometime in the future.
The upcoming movie is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films and it will be the 100th flick made under the famous banner. The pre-production works for the film was started seven months ago and technicians from all over the world, including from the U.S., U.K., and Denmark are working on the project.
Sundar C has already signed up Sabu Cyril for art direction and Kamal Kannan to supervise CGI works.
Meanwhile, the Sundar C-produced and starred "Muthina Kathirikai" has opened to fairly positive reviews and has reportedly done well in its opening weekend. On the other hand, Vijay is busy shooting for Bharathan's movie.
