The teaser of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's "Theri" is going to be out next week and if the buzz on social media is to be believed, the video-clip will hit the internet on 5 February.
Music director GV Prakash Kumar recently said that the team was working on the video clip. "#theri teaser work on progress ! #GV50 ... ✨ celebration begins!" he tweeted.
The 50-second teaser is expected to give a glimpse of the different avatars of Vijay's in "Theri". "50 sec teaser of #Theri on its way. Most likely to be released in the first week of Feb," industry tracker Haricharan confirmed on Twitter recently.
The actor was seen in three different avatars in the first look of "Theri" and this had paved way for the rumours that claimed that the actor would be seen in triple roles. The fans of Vijay hope that the teaser will give a clarification on those speculations.
The teaser of "Theri" was first planned for a Pongal release and was later said to be for Republic Day. But both the plans underwent changes due to the shooting being incomplete. The makers of the film are expected to formally announce about the teaser soon.
Meanwhile, the shooting, which kicked-off in July 2015, was completed last week. Now, the post-production work is being carried out in full swing.
"Theri" is an action-thriller written and directed by Atlee Kumar of "Raja Rani" fame. Samantha and Amy Jackson are playing the female leads with Mahendran in the role of antagonist. KS Ravikumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Santhanam, Rajendran, Kaali Venkat and others are in the cast. In a surprise move, Vijay's daughter Divya will be seen in a cameo.
The upcoming movie is slated for release in April 2016.
