The social and online media were abuzz with the news that Vijay had praised Ajith's "Vedalam" trailer. But it has now turned out to be false.
From the past few days, it was reported in some websites that Vijay had seen the teaser of "Vedalam" and had appreciated the video clip. A picture in which Ilayathalapathy promoting the Ajith starrer was attached with the story.
Some websites went ahead and declared that the differences were between the fans of the two actors and cited the gesture of Vijay to claim that all was well between the two stars of Kollywood.
Now, it turns out that the picture has been doctored and it is a handy work of some miscreants, who aim was to give positive publicity to Ajith's "Vedalam". In actuality, it is a photo posted by Manobala a few months ago on his Twitter in which Vijay is seen holding an ipad, promoting the trailer of "Sathuranga Vettai".
The miscreant has smartly replaced the photo of Manobala's movie with "Vedalam".
Coming to "Vedalam", the movie is now getting ready for the censor. The movie will be sent this week and its makers hope that they get 'U' certificate without much cuts. The film is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles.
Karunas denies criticising Ajith
Karunas, the newly elected Vice President of Nadigar Sangam, almost caught in a controversy due to a fake Twitter handle. An impersonator was involved in badmouthing Ajith on Twitter. Many without realising that it was not Karunas, trolled and criticised him.
As a result, Karunas has now filed a case against the impersonator with City Commissioner. He has also released a press release in which he has clarified that he has not defamed anyone and maintains good relationship with all the artistes.
