It is well known that Dhanush and Simbu, who were once rivals, but are now friends, have been bonding well on various occasions
But on Saturday (8 March), one more big star joined them and had fun at a restaurant in Chennai.
"Ilayathalapathy" Vijay, Simbu and Dhanush had a fun evening and bonded well despite their professional rivalries.
Simbu posted a picture of him with Vijay and Dhanush on his twitter handle with a message saying: "What a night :) thanks to Vijay anna and Dhanush ..."
It appears that the trio had a great boys night out. "We discussed cinema, music and friends among other things. We had a very nice time together," Simbu told The Times of India.

On the professional front, the trio is busy with their upcoming projects.
Vijay is currently working in Murugadoss' film. The film's shooting has been progressing at a brisk pace and is expected to be completed by July or August. Murugadoss has confirmed that the film will release for Diwali this year.
Dhanush, who had a great professional year in 2013, has his hands full with several projects this year as well. His "Velai Illa Pattadhaari" is completed and the film is gearing up for a summer release. He is also working in KV Anand's "Anegan" and Balki's untitled Hindi film, along with Amitabh Bachchan. Recently, the national award winning actor started shooting for Vetrimaran's new film too.
Simbu did not have a single release last year except for a couple of cameo appearances, which had upset the actor's fans. But this year, his fans can rejoice as the actor is likely to have two releases. His much-delayed "Vaalu" is expected to hit the screens in May, whereas the Gautham Menon directorial is also likely to be released this year. Besides these films, Simbu has "Vettai Mannan" and Selvaraghavan's new project in hand.
