Comedian Sathish had a memorable birthday this year as he celebrated the special day with none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay. They are presently working in the upcoming flick, which is presently referred to as "Thalapathy 60" aka "Vijay 60."
The buzz is that Vijay's film's team had organised a special cake for Sathish and made him cut it in the presence of entire crew on Monday, May 23. The comedian was moved by their gesture and he thanked everyone for making it a wonderful day for him.
Later, Sathish himself shared the photos of the celebration on his Twitter account. He was also wished by many celebrities like Sivakarthikeyan, Anirudh Ravichander, Thiru, Dhanush and Arun Vijay on Twitter.
Sathish, who started his acting career with "Vasool Raja MBBS," is working with Vijay for the second time. Earlier, they had collaborated in blockbuster "Kaththi."
The actor has worked in over 20 films in Kollywood since he made his debut in 2004. At present, Sathish is also busy with Bhagyaraj Kannan's "Remo," which has Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in the leads, Sundar C's "Muthina Kathirikai" and Arun Vijay-starrer "Vaa Deal."
Coming to "Thalapathy 60," the shooting is happening at a brisk pace. The movie is written and directed by Bharathan and produced by Vijaya Productions. Jagapathi Babu and Daniel Balaji play villains in the movie in which Keerthy Suresh is doing the role of Vijay's love interest.
Mime Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra and others are in the cast. The film has Santhosh Narayanan's music, M Sukumar's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
The upcoming movie is expected to release for Pongal 2017.
