Actor and producer Prabhu has denied rumours that claimed that his Sivaji Productions will bankroll Vijay's 62nd film. He has clarified that the actor has not told him anything about a possible tie-up.
"It's news to me that Vijay is doing a film for us. Vijay hasn't said anything about that to us. When he does so, we will inform everyone," Prabhu said, reported Deccan Chronicle.
It was earlier said that Selvaraghavan had met Vijay recently for a story narration. The actor was highly impressed by the subject and gave a nod to act in the movie, which would be produced by Prabhu.
Speculations were also rife that this project would take off once Vijay wraps up his pending projects. Ilayathalapathy is currently working with Bharathan's Bairavaa, the shooting of which will be completed next month. The post-production works will commence in the same month and the Tamil movie will be ready for release in January 2017.
Vijay is expected to start Altee Kumar's film later this year. It was speculated that Selva's film will take off once the shooting of this project comes to an end. While Prabhu has confirmed that he is not producing the film, the director is yet to open up on the issue.
