G V Prakash Kumar is set to join hands with Atlee Kumar again. Yes, he has been signed to score music for the director's next film with Vijay.
As per the reports, G V Prakash Kumar has bagged the forthcoming movie, which is presently being referred to as Vijay 61. The trio had earlier teamed up for the hit Tamil movie Theri. The news has not come as a surprise as G V Prakash had composed music for Atlee's earlier two films, including Raja Rani.
Both the albums had turned out to be hits and the expectations will be much higher this time. It may be also recalled that apart from Theri, G V Prakash Kumar had composed music for Vijay's Thalaivaa.
Coming back to Vijay 61, the movie, which will be produced by Sri Thenandal Films, will reportedly hit the floors next year. The pre-production works are progressing at full pace and the scripting work is almost completed. It has to be noted that K V Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame has written the story.
Meanwhile, the hunt for the heroine has continued even as rumours suggest that Kajal Aggarwal is the strong contender to pair up with Vijay. The makers have reportedly approached her and she has liked the script. But the actress, who had worked with Ilayathalapathy in Thuppakki, has not signed the movie on the dotted lines yet.
Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming film Bairavaa, which has reached its final stages of the shooting. The film unit will now head to Switzerland to shoot a song. The post-production works will begin in November and the movie will hit the screens in January 2017.
On the other end, the fans of Vijay are expecting the teaser of Bairavaa to be unveiled during Diwali. The official announcement is awaited.
