Regular shooting of Vijay's next movie has been commenced on Tuesday, May 3. The Tamil movie was launched on April 11 at a simple event in Chennai.
"The second schedule of #Vijay60 movie begins today (May 3rd) with an intro song shoot choreographed by Dinesh master. Pongal 2017 release, [sic]" journalist Christopher Kanagaraj posted.
The makers have erected a set to shoot the mass song at Binny Mills, Chennai. Choreographer Dinesh has reportedly prepared well and he has taken special interest towards the number as it is the introductory track of Vijay in the movie, which is presently referred to as "Vijay 60."
Santhosh Narayanan, who has delivered a couple of successful albums in the last few years, is scoring music for "Vijay 60." The movie is expected to have five to six songs, the standard number of songs in films followed by the industry.
"Vijay 60" has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead role. Jagapathi Babu is returning to Tamil cinema with this flick after Rajinikanth's "Lingaa". Once again, he will be seen in a negative role along with Daniel Balaji. Sathish, Mimi Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman and YG Mahendra are part of the supporting cast.
Praveen KL is the editor of the film, while M Sukumar is the cinematographer. Bharathan, who had earlier written dialogues for Vijay's "Ghilli" and also directed him in "Azhagiya Tamil Magan," has collaborated with the actor for the second time to direct "Vijay 60."
The movie is bankrolled by Vijaya Productions. The makers are planning to release the movie on Pongal 2017.
