The cast of Vijay's upcoming movie is growing bigger by the day. The latest celebrity to join the film is none other than Thambi Ramaiah.
Thambi Ramaiah himself confirmed the news on Twitter claiming that he started shooting for the movie on Tuesday, June 14. He wrote, "So pleased & very proud & happy to be part of #Vijay60... Looking forward to work with @actorvijay thambi again. [sic]"
The actor reportedly will be doing the role of a comedian along with Sathish in the film, which is presently referred to as "Vijay 60." Thambi Ramaiah will be seen in the role of Keerthy Suresh's uncle.
The movie has Aparna Vinod in the second female lead. Jagapathi Babu is the protagonist and Daniel Balaji will be also doing the role of a baddie in "Vijay 60." Mime Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra, Vijayaraghavan, Sugunthan, Roshan Basheer and others are in the cast.
The "Vijay 60" unit has started its second schedule in Hyderabad recently. The scenes involving Jagapathi Babu and Vijay are presently being filmed. It may be recalled that the team had wrapped up its first schedule in Chennai last month.
The upcoming Tamil flick is written and directed by Bharathan. It is his second association with Vijay after "Azhagiya Tamizh Magan" in 2007.
"Vijay 60" has the music of Santhosh Narayanan, who is basking in the success of "Kabali." M Sukumar is handling the cinematography department, while Praveen KL is the editor of the flick.
Vijaya Productions is bankrolling the film, which will hit the screens in January 2017.
