The makers of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's next movie seem to have finalised the title of the movie. After considering a couple of names, they have zeroed in on "Enga Veettu Pillai."
Giving a few updates about the movie, journalist Kaushik tweeted, "#Thalapathy60 #Vijay60. - MAY BE titled Enga Veettu Pillai. - Composer SaNa wishes to make #Vijay sing for a song - Vairamuthu is the lyricist. [sic]" It is believed that the name aptly suits the content and the image of the hero. Hence, they have decided to lock in the title.
"Enga Veettu Pillai" is the popular title of MGR's hit movie. Interestingly, Vijaya Productions, which had produced the yesteryear film, is bankrolling the latest film, which has been referred to as "Vijay 60" till date.
Recently, Bharathan claimed that they will announce the movie title soon. He also revealed that the movie will have a lot of dialogues but clarified that they will not be forcefully included in the script.
The shooting of the movie is underway and the team has already completed two schedules. Vijay is on a break and he will be soon joining the shoots. The makers have plans to wrap up the complete shooting by the end of September.
"Vijay 60" has Keerthy Suresh in the female lead role. Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Sathish, Mimi Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra and others in supporting roles.
Santhosh Narayanan is the music director of the film, while Praveen KL is the editor and M Sukumar is the cinematographer. The movie is bankrolled by Vijaya Productions, which has plans to release the movie on Pongal 2017.
