Bharathan seems to be wasting no time in finalising his cast and crew for his next film with Vijay. Now, the director has selected the technical team for his forthcoming Tamil film.
As per sources close to the development, Bharathan has signed fast-growing musician Santhosh Narayanan to compose the music for the film, which is currently called "Vijay 60". The director has high hopes on his ability and has given an opportunity, say reports.
This is the second big project Santhosh Narayanan has bagged after Rajinikanth's "Kabali". Meanwhile, Bharathan has roped in Madhie to handle cinematography and signed Praveen K L to edit the flick.
Praveen was first to confirm his association with "Vijay 60". He had tweeted: "Yes guys. It is true. Im on board for #Ilayathalapathy #vj60 super excited for the racy script. I thank #vijay sir and #bharathan sir. (sic)"
Meanwhile, there are reports that Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. They had earlier paired up in the blockbusters "Thuppakki" and "Jilla".
Bharathan had earlier directed Vijay in "Azhagiya Tamizh Magan". The movie had failed to create buzz at the box office. However, this did not stop Ilayathalapathy from signing the new flick. The upcoming film will be produced by Vijaya Productions, whose last Tamil movie was Ajith's "Veeram".
The project will take off once Vijay completes his film with Atlee Kumar. "Vijay 60" will possibly take off in early January, and is expected to be a Diwali release.
