"Puli" is the latest name that has joined the list of speculated titles of Vijay's 58th movie. The title will be formally announced on Pongal.
Many names related to the movie in the past have been doing rounds. Most popular among them were "Maareesan", "Marudheeran" and "Garuda". Now, we hear that the makers are also considering "Puli" along with the afore-mentioned other names.
The buzz says that the makers had a lot of discussions on the movie title but have not finalised the name yet. However, "Puli" seems to be favoured by many in the team. Nonetheless, the makers are expected to remain tight-lipped about its title and will only announce the name for Pongal.
As Pongal is a big occasion for Tamilians, the makers have decided to reveal the movie name for the festival. Vijay's official Twitter is expected to announce the name for the Sankrathi. Till now, the movie is called by the name "Vijay 58" by the audience and media.
Meanwhile, the movie team is set to begin its next schedule. It was reported that the shooting will commence in Mysore. But now the latest buzz says that it will start in Chennai. The film unit will head to Andhra Pradesh in February to shoot the important portions.
"Vijay 58" is directed by Chimbudevan and grandly made by Vijay's former manager PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens. The budget of the film is expected to above ₹75 crores. It is a fantasy-adventure film featuring Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and yesteryear actress Sridevi.
Vijay will be reportedly seen in the role of a dwarf and Kiccha Sudeep plays the role of a baddie. The Kannada star also plays the role of queen Sridevi and the commander of her kingdom. Hansika Motwani plays Vijay's love interest. We are still clueless about Shruti Haasan's character.
