After Hrithik Roshan-Sonam Kapoor and Tiger Shroff-Kriti Sanon, Bollywood actors Vidyut Jammwal and Huma Qureshi will feature in a romantic music video. Titled "Dil Lagi," the song will be sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and directed by cinematographer Kiran Deohans.
The song will be shot in Goa between May 21 to 23 and it is said to be an adaptation of a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's song by the same name. "I've heard it, it's beautiful. Action movies also have strong romantic and emotional elements but it is with this song that I am venturing into an out-and-out romance," Vidyut told Mumbai Mirror.
Vidyut has appeared as a macho man in front of the audience and now, it will be interesting to see the handsome hunk in a romantic avatar. He revealed that he will be playing a guy next door in the song video and the character will be madly in love with a girl (played by Huma).
Also, this is not the first time Vidyut will be working with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The ace singer has lent his voice in Vidyut's film "Commando." "I have known him for a while, he'd sung one of my favourites, "Saawan Bairi" in Commando. He is one of the reasons why I gave the nod to the single," Vidyut said.
The actor also said that he and Huma have got along really well in the industry. They have known each other and are comfortable in each other's company. Though featuring in a song video is new to Vidyut, Huma has already appeared in a single, "Mitti Di Khushboo," co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
Meanwhile, Vidyut is shooting for Vipul Shah's "Commando 2" and will be again seen performing some high octane action sequences. On the other hand, Huma has been making headlines for auditioning in Tom Cruise-starrer "The Mummy." Fans are also eagerly waiting for her Malayalam release, "White," in which she features opposite superstar Mammootty.
