Vidya Balan apparently has taken a subtle dig at Kangana Ranaut for the latter's controversy over credit for the script of her upcoming movie Simran.
Kangana recently was in news after writer Apurva Asrani accused Kangana of stealing his credit for the script of Simran. Before this issue could die, director Ketan Mehta alleged that Kangana also stole the idea of her another upcoming film Manikarnika.
Now, Vidya has shared a picture on Instagram that very much appears to be a jibe at the National Award-winning actress. The picture shows Vidya flaunting a credit card, but it is the caption that attracts attention.
"Who needs credit when your director gifts you this card? Thankoo Suresh Triveni," she captioned the photo. Suresh is the director of Vidya's forthcoming movie Tumhari Sulu. Film-maker Tanuj Gag also reposted the same picture and captioned it, "What director saab #sureshtriveni did, before Sulu asked him for extra credits (He gave her a credit card!!)."
Well, it will be interesting to see if Kangana hits back at Vidya in some way. Both Vidya and Kangana are critically acclaimed actresses, but the latter has been much more successful than her in terms of box office hits.
While Kangana has had back-to-back hits like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Vidya has been struggling to make it big at the box office. Most of her recent movies have bombed at the commercial circuits.
