In its endeavour to support the 'Make in India' initiative, Videocon launched its first phone made in the country. Dubbed Z55 Dash, the phone will focus on online budget consumers.
The Videocon Z55 Dash boasts of a 5-inch, 720 x 1280 pixels IPS capacitive display with 5-point multi touch and anti-fingerprint coating overlaid with DragonTrail X glass for added protection against scratches and damages. The device also comes with a measured thickness of 8mm slim design with nicely crafted back covers in black-gold and white-chrome finish.
Powered by a 1.4GHz True-octa-core processor, Z55 Dash packs 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB. The device runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system and features all the required network abilities including Dual-SIM 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Light Sensor.
On the camera side, Videocon Z55 Dash comes with a 8GB rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device also packs a 2,200 mAh battery and a 90-day subscription of anti-virus software, V-Secure and GPS powered personal safety app V-Safe.

The smartphone priced at Rs 8,499, is exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs 6,490.
