Kaabil is crucial for Hrithik Roshan's career and therefore, the team is pulling out all the stops to make it a box office hit. The concept sure is new, but for that extra zing the makers have added an item number, which will be shot with Urvashi Rautela in the lead.
The Great Grand Masti actress has begun filming the special number, which is a rehashed version of Amitabh Bachchan's Saara Zamana Haseeno Ka Deewana. Both Rautela and Roshan were spotted at the Filmistan Studio in Mumbai a few days back. The actress-model even shared a video from the sets.
A few weeks ago, it was being said that the said item number was offered to Priyanka Chopra at first, but she turned it down saying she wanted her next Bollywood project to be significant. Then, the makers had apparently approached Katrina Kaif, but the leading lady had a packed schedule then.
What else is happening with Kaabil?
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil is a revenge-thriller and focuses on a much-in-love visually-impaired couple (played by Roshan and Yami Gautam). This is Roshan's second film this year and he would hope that it shines at the ticket window, unlike his last one — Mohenjo Daro.
The film is scheduled to be released on January 26, the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's Raees. Even though filmmakers say a good film will always find its way to the top, a box office clash almost always causes colossal damage to the producers.
However, Roshan is unfazed by the competition and is taking it in good spirit. He told the media that the clash in no way has created a dent in his and Khan's friendship.
