It surely must've been quite a dreamy night for the newly weds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas as they got married in a Christian wedding on December 1 at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. But their D-day turned into a battle ground for the media persons as they got thrashed by the bodyguards who were present their to secure the wedding venue.
Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani shared the two short videos of the incident on Instagram where one can see the bodyguards getting physical with the media fraternity and pushing them away from the location which was almost 4 kms away from the Umaid Bhavan Palace.
"Media at war with the bodyguards of #nickjonas and #priyankachopra . The media fraternity had gone to a location which is not under the authority of #umaidbhavanpalace and actually a government owned one. But the guards did not want the media around and there was a war of words and later cops were called to clear the matter," He wrote on Instagram.
In another Instagram post, police officials can be seen overseeing the situation after the brawl took place. Media persons can be heard arguing with the guards over trying to capture the happenings around the palace and the wedding.
