Director Venu Madikanti's Telugu movie Venkatapuram, starring Rahul Tyson, Mahima Makwana, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh, has received positive reviews from viewers, who call it an edge-of-the-seat thriller film.
Venkatapuram is an engaging crime thriller. The film is based on a real-life love story and deals with a murder mystery. Venu Madikanti has written the story and screenplay for the movie, which has been produced by Shreyas Sriniwaas of Ee Rojullo under his banner Shreyas Media. The movie features Achu's music and Sai Prakash's cinematography.
Anand (Rahul Tyson) is a pizza delivery boy in love with Chaitra (Mahima Makwana). But when Chaitra is murdered, SI Durga Prasad (Ajay Ghosh) arrests Anand. How Durga Prasad unravels the mystery surrounding the death of Chaitra forms the crux of the story of the suspense thriller, Venkatapuram.
The film begins with the murder of Chaitra, and moves into the flashback mode with the entry of Ajay Ghosh. Then come a couple of songs and romance scenes, but the first half ends with a shocking twist. The second half is thrilling and makes a nail-biting watch. The gory climax will leave you spellbound, says the audience.
Rahul Tyson of Happy days fame, who is making his comeback, has got a tailor-made role for him here and he has delivered a brilliant performance. Mahima Makwana has also got good scope for acting and she has done justice to it. Ajay Ghosh steals the show with his amazing acting. Ajay has got only a little screen time, but he manages to impress you, say viewers.
