Controversy queen, only next to Rakhi Sawant, Pakistani actress Veena Malik knows exactly how to remain atop the news bulletin all the time.
Be it posing nude for a magazine for publicity, advising B-town actresses to not shy away from doing item songs or boasting about her bikini body during interviews, this fame crazy small-time actress has tried it all.
Malik, who is not even one film old in the industry, already has some advice for the well-established B-Town actresses. She is presently awaiting the release of her first Bollywood film 'Dall Mein Kuch Kaala Hai.'
"Heroines should not shy away from doing item songs," she said at the music launch of her debut film adding that "An item song is a huge responsibility."
"I am doing five-six female-centric films but at the same time I am doing item numbers. I did 'Channo,' one in 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' and very soon I'll do another," she said.
The 28-year-old actress is quite content with the female-centric roles that she is being offered right in the beginning of her career in films.
"I am happy that without becoming part of a group and without the support of a man, I am making a place for myself in Bollywood," Malik said.
"It's just the beginning; my producers are showing faith in me. I think it's a great achievement that a girl is being offered female-centric roles."
Well, that's not all. This time, Malik has apparently come out in open to support homosexuals.
"I am openly supporting the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community and I don't feel shy about doing it," she said in a statement.
She asserted that "If American President Barack Obama and Hollywood beauties can stand up for the gay marriage, so why not every country's citizen should support this cause?"
"I personally feel every person has a right to live their life on their own rules and nobody should interfere in their personal life," she said.
