Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who hogged the limelight with her stint on "Bigg Boss", has delivered a baby girl. Her husband Asad Bashir revealed their daughter's name and photos.

Veena Malik's delivery took place in Virginia, US on Wednesday.

The elated couple took to their Twitter handles to share their excitement on the birth of their daughter with their followers.

Besides posting some photos featuring her with new born baby and husband, Veena Malik tweeted, "Welcome to our world my little princess #Amal Asad Khan..... We are blessed @Asadbashirr... Alhamadullilah ... !!!"

Asad also posted the same pictures on his Twitter handle and wrote, "Alhamadullilah on this Blessed day of Hajj our princess Amal Asad Khan arrives into our world. Thank you @iVeenaKhan."

Veena married businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak at a private ceremony in Dubai in 2013. She gave birth to his son Abram Khan Khattak on 23 September, 2014.

Born in Rawalpindi, Veena made her debut in film with "Tere Pyar Mein" in 2000. She has starred in around nine Pakistani movies. She also hosted Pakistani TV shows like "Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain", "Miss Duniya" and "Astaghfaar".

She became popular in India with her stint on hit reality TV show "Bigg Boss 4", which flooded her with several offers. She worked in Hindi, Punjabi, Kannada and Telugu films and starred in nine Indian movies.

The actress was also a contestant on India TV reality show "Bigg Toss Reality Game Show" and made a guest appearance on UTV Bindass show "Superstud". She has stopped signing films or TV programme offers after marriage.
