The first look teaser of "Mukunda" starring Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde is released.
The teaser is released as a dedication to Tej's uncle and Power Star Pawan Kalyan who is celebrating his birthday on 2 September.

The teaser introduces the characters played by Tej and Hedge and begins with the entry of the actor on a bike in a misty morning and then introduces the actress, who is sitting on a swing. The teaser confirms that the film is a romantic entertainer.
"Mukunda" is Tej's debut film, who belongs to one of the most popular Telugu film families. He is popular Telugu actor Nagendra Babu's son and nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Ram Charan is his cousin brother.
"Mukunda" is directed and written by Srikanth Addala who had earlier directed "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" (2013) and "Kotha Bangaru Lokam" (2008). The film also has Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.
"The film will reflect the emotions of the current generation and the clarity people need in their lives. Varun Tej has done a fabulous job," Addala said to The Times of India
The team had earlier released the first look poster of "Mukunda" on Krishna Janmashtami day, 21 August.
The film's music is composed by Mickey J Meyer and the audio rights of the film are brought by Adithya Music for about ₹45 lakh. The audio launch is expected to take place in September.
The shooting had begun in March and was extensively shot in Kerala, Hyderabad and Godavari regions.
The cinematography of "Mukunda" is done by V. Manikandan and is produced by Tagore Madu and Nallamalapu Srinivas under the banner of Leo Productions.
