Megastar Ram Charan Teja will be releasing the music of Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal's "Kanche" at a grand audio launch function to be held in Hyderabad on 17 September.
Directed by Krish, "Kanche" is set against the backdrop of World War II and tells the love story of an Indian solider in the British Army, who fought against Germany.
Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry has penned the lyrics for the songs of the movie, while Bollywood music director Chirantan Bhatt composed the music. Aditya Music has acquired the music rights and is all set to release the audio in the market.
The makers of "Kanche" had initially planned to hold the audio launch function in Vizag as it has got some connection with the World War II. On 10 September, Varun Tej Konidela had tweeted, "#Kancheaudio will b released in Vizag on 17th Sep, on the eve of Vinayaka chavithi, in the historical Port Stadium!"
But the makers of "Kanche" shifted its music release event to Hyderabad for Ram Charan, who will be the chief guest on the occasion. "Ram Charan agreed to come as a special guest for the music release. He is busy with shooting and may not have made it to Vizag, so the makers decided to hold it in Hyderabad," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
On 15 September, Varun Tej Konidela took to Twitter to inform his followers about the change in the location of the audio release. Without divulging the reason, he tweeted, "Hey tweeps!..there has been a change in the venue of the audio launch due to some technical reasons..Shifted back to Hyderabad on 17th sept!"
Varun Tej released the teaser of the song, 'Nijamenani', on YouTube on Wednesday, Varun Tej tweeted, "Releasing a small song teaser of #kanche in sometime...stay tuned!!.. Audio release tomorrow September 17th!" Besides sharing the link of the teaser, he wrote later, "Here you go an amazing track from #kanche composed by chiranthan Bhatt and sung by Shreya Ghoshal" Here is the teaser.
On Thursday morning, Varun Tej wished his fans on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. He also informed that he would release a song on Radio City 91.1.
He tweeted, "Wishing each and every one a very happy vinayaka chavithi.. Hey guys...I will be releasing a song from #kanche on radiocity 91.1 Catch it live on air now!.."
Later, Varun Tej shared the link of the teaser of another song released on YouTube. He tweeted, "Had a great time at radiocity office..launched the first track of #Kanche Listen to it exclusively on radiocity 91.1." He added, ""Itu Itu Ani" @bhattchirantan composition, Sastry garu lyrics n beautifully sung by @AbhayJodhpurkar @shreyaghoshal." Here is the teaser.
