Young actor Varun Tej continued to shoot for his upcoming movie Mister, despite his broken leg. Sreenu Vaitla was shocked by his dedication and was grateful to the actor for the cooperation.
Varun Tej injured his leg while shooting an action sequence of Mister in Ooty on Friday. He was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital and given treatment. Since he sustained a fracture on the right leg, the doctors advised him to take 3-4 weeks rest. But he resumed shooting of the movie after he was discharged from the hospital. The film unit was shocked to see his dedication.
The son of actor Nagababu completed the Ooty schedule before returning to Hyderabad to take rest. Varun Tej took to his Twitter handle on October 1 and posted a picture, which featured him sitting in a wheelchair, while actress Lavanya Tripathi and Satyam Rajesh assisted him at the airport.
Varun Tej thanked the film unit for their support. The actor tweeted: "Back to Hyderabad from ooty! These two took such good care of me!..thanks a lot and to each and everyone for your wishes... Will run soon!!!"
Sreenu Vaitla has directed action drama Mister, which is produced by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Bujji under the banners Leo Productions and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel are playing the female leads opposite Varun Tej. The film unit had to brave bad weather during the shooting of first schedule in Ooty, but they managed to complete the schedule on time.
The director is thankful to Varun Tej and other cast and crew for the support.
