Broadening the horizon of his WikiLeak-type revelations on the Gandhi family, former IPL chief Lalit Modi has now also included BJP MP Varun Gandhi and his aunt, Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
In the latest, the tainted former cricket administrator has now claimed that Varun Gandhi had met him at his London house a few years ago and offered to "settle everything" with his "auntie" Sonia.
Giving a sensational twist to the raging controversy over securing British visa to travel Portugal, Modi claimed in one one of his series of tweets related to the matter "that Auntie wants 60 million dollars". Modi claimed that Varun also wanted him to meet Sonia's sister from Italy.
"1/3 Mr @varungandhi80 came to see me at my house a few years ago and said he can settle everything in @INCIndia with"... his aunt," Modi said in a couple of tweets posted late on Tuesday night.

He clarified further, in another tweet, that "auntie" he referred to earlier is Sonia Gandhi.
"The auntie he refers to is #soniagandhi. The sister is #soniagandhi sister - just for clarity," he posted.
"Please clarify @varungandhi80 did u or did u not come to my house in London. Whilst staying at the Ritz hotel in London a few years ago," he said in yet another tweet.
Varun, however, refused to have knowledge of any such meeting with Modi and called his claims baseless.
"This is absolutely baseless and it is beneath my dignity to respond to this nonsense," Varun told PTI.
BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain came out in defence of Varun and said, "Varun Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are in different parties and the world knows about the ties between the two families."
Earlier, on 25 June Modi had claimed through his posts on Twitter that he had met Robert Vadra and his wife Priyanka Gandhi at a restaurant in London "last year and the year before" when the UPA was in power.
He had also claimed that DLF chairman KP Singh's son-in-law Timmy Sarna accompanied the couple at the meeting.
