Bollywood's young heartthrob Varun Dhawan is making waves with his upcoming film "Main Tera Hero" (MTH) in an uncanny way.
Recently, Dhawan was in news for spoofing Ranbir Kapoor's "Badtameez Dil" in "Main Tera Hero". The upcoming commercial entertainer reportedly has Dhawan mouthing parody bhajan titled "Bholenath ji" in the tune of the popular track.
The actor was also seen mimicking Kapoor in the promos of the film, when he humorously tries to woo leading ladies Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. The 26-year-old went the mute way aping Kapoor's character in "Barfi!"
After mocking Kapoor, the actor has now taken jibes at the star's ladylove Katrina Kaif and her broken Hindi accent.
In a dialogue promo of the film, Anupam Kher funnily lets out, "Tumhari harkatein, kutte ki dum, aur Katrina ki Hindi aisi hai ki kabhi seedhi ho hi nahi sakti (Your antics, dog's tail and Katrina's Hindi can never be set right)," to which the actor quips, "Sir, aajkal uski Hindi achchi ho gayi hai. (But these days her Hindi has improved)."
The dialogue exchange is no doubt hilarious, but Kaif is quite likely to be miffed with the mockery.
The promo further goes on to draw a hilarious mismatch between the "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" actor and the villainy of Shakti Kapoor.
The cast of "MTH" has been spotted promoting the film at various places and notable instances have been witnessed. Dhawan during the Chandigarh promotions broke in an impromptu lap dance for co-star Fakhri. Then again "The Student of the Year" actor, who has amassed quite a female following, was almost mobbed by fans and came out with torn shirt from a Mumbai mall recently.
"Main Tera Hero" is set for release on 4 April.
